About the role

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with excellent interpersonal skills, who represents the diversity of our school community.

At St John’s, we recognise your contributions and see you all as heroes every second of the day.  As a Leadership Team we are always thinking how we can make it more manageable for our staff with meaningful support.   

What we need

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is proactive, uses their initiative and is flexible when changes occur.   Your contract will be full/part time (8:30am to 1pm/8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday), term time only. Initially this will be a fixed term contract, with the possibility of moving to a permanent position.  

To be successful in this post, you will need: excellent communication skills, confidence in the classroom to ensure a nurturing environment and the ability to work at a high level in English and Maths so to support the good progress expected for all of our pupils.
