About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to join our hardworking team. We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic and committed staff working across the school in all key stages.
The successful candidate will:
- Be committed to improving the outcomes for children
- Be able to enthuse and inspire children
- Be willing to contribute to a dynamic and hardworking team
- Show initiative and a keenness to be involved in all aspects of school life
- Feel confident in working independently with small groups of children
- Have experience in supporting children to reach their full potential
- Have experience of supporting children with SEN
- Be confident with the use of ICT
The successful applicant will provide a range of support including: Classroom learning and pastoral support, delivery of small group or individual intervention programmes including some 1:1 support.
We welcome applications from people with experience or those who are wanting to start their career with a willingness to learn. There will be opportunities for professional development in school.
The working hours are: 30 hours per week - 5 days (Monday to Friday) - 8.45a.m. - 3.15p.m. Term time only.
