About the role
Due to an existing Teaching Assistant pursuing a career in teaching, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, inspirational and committed Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team at Jenyns First School and Nursery.
Jenyns First School and Nursery is a small school where our children receive quality first teaching in mixed age classes, from a dedicated and experienced team. We require a Class Teaching Assistant commencing 1st September 2024. The role includes general teaching assistant duties in our Year 3/4 class and to assist in the support of all pupils. Applicants will need to have experience of working with children of the relevant age, with good numeracy and literacy skills and an understanding of the curricular requirements of the school, these to include statutory requirements.
The part-time role will be supporting pupils in our morning sessions only (8:30-12:30* negotiable)
The role can also be extended to full-time in conjunction with our vacancy for an afternoon 1:1 Learning Support assistant.
