Are you a reflective practitioner who can work within a team engaging and responding to children's thinking and learning? We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant and/or Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a positive and nurturing approach to children to join our dedicated and hard-working team.

You will:

• inspire and motivate pupils to make progress in their learning and achieve their potential
• have high expectations for all pupils in terms of achievement and behaviour
• have excellent communication skills
• be able to deliver interventions with support from class teachers and the SENCo

The successful candidate will be calm, confident and be able demonstrate the ability to accelerate the learning of individual and small groups of children, under the direction of the class teacher. They will be expected to support the class teacher with a variety of tasks to meet the ongoing needs of pupils. You would also be expected to carry out break and lunch duties, working as part of a team.

Willingness to work across Key Stage 2 is essential and previous experience at Key Stage 2 would be an advantage. Working hours are 8.30 am - 3.30pm, but these are negotiable.  Please see job description for further information.
