About the role
South Hill School wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our KS2 team. The role involves supporting children's learning under the guidance of the class teacher, as well as working with small groups. We are looking for a candidate with a calm, nurturing and resilient approach in the classroom. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable. This is permanent appointment, 8.40 am to 3.20 pm Monday to Friday, with a one hour unpaid lunch break, term time only (28 hours and 20 minutes per week). Candidates qualifications will include GCSE maths and English at Grade 4-9 (A*-C) or equivalent. For further information please see the attached job description and candidate specification.
