NEXUS HERTS FEDERATION MATHS TEACHER

(to work across both our North Herts Education Support Centre and the Stevenage Education Support Centre)

MPS/UPS - TLR available dependant on experience and role available – Full Time

What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you an individual who is passionate about promoting a love for Maths? The Nexus Herts Federation seeks an enthusiastic and inspirational Maths Teacher to teach across the KS3 and KS4 age and ability range.

Working as a Maths Teacher can be incredibly rewarding as you support our students in becoming confident, analytical and resilient learners. We welcome anyone who is at the start of their teaching career or an experienced practitioner to apply. You will join a school community that is welcoming and supportive.

The successful candidate will have an ambition to open our students’ eyes to the wonderful world of possibilities for both the purpose of academic success and in the world of work. To set high expectations, and the belief that all students, whatever their background, can achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will hold a QTS or equivalent qualification, with good subject and curriculum knowledge, to teach Mathematics.

You will have the ability to build positive working relationships with staff and students, and have a good sense of humour.

The ability to manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment, is required.
