We are looking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious teacher of English to join our highly successful English Faculty. The role will incorporate teaching across key stages and may also involve some intervention teaching for a suitable candidate. Our English results at GCSE and A level are outstanding, with 94% achieving grade 9-4 at GCSE and 79% achieving A*-B in English Literature A level. Our very large sixth form offers plenty of opportunities to teach at KS5. English is located in a new, specialised teaching block with fantastic resources including interactive screens, and with a purpose built Learning Resource Centre at the heart of the block. We are seeking to recruit someone who has a real passion for English to contribute to our further development in the subject. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who wants to join a high performing school and gain significant experience to further enhance their career.

The following year, I worked at a different school for one year and then returned to work at Sandringham when a permanent post became available. My role has developed over time, with my recent appointment to be KS4 Intervention Lead in English, an exciting role created for me as my new found love of data developed! Ambition Education Trust (AET) provides an enhanced induction programme for all of their Early Career Teachers (ECTs) during July which attracts an attendance payment in July and August.
