About the role

Required for September 2025 an imaginative and enthusiastic teacher to join this forward thinking and successful department, committed to high standards of achievement at all levels. The post would suit an experienced or newly qualified teacher who is committed to teaching at the highest standard and raising the aspirations and achievements of our students. 

The successful applicant will be passionate about art and design education across all key stages. Art is a popular choice at key stage 4 and student outcomes are excellent.  We also offer Fine Art and Photography A level and there are currently 30 students working towards these qualifications in key stage 5.  We can offer stimulating classroom environments with enthusiastic students who can produce highly accomplished and exciting outcomes.  There will be an opportunity to teach GCSE and A level Art and/or Photography dependent on individual candidates skillset.  We particularly welcome applications from candidates with a strong subject knowledge of painting and/or sculpture.

Candidates should have a teaching degree, QTS, PGCE/PGDE or equivalent, recognised for the purposes of teaching in the UK.
