Description
Central Primary School is a two-form entry school based in a grade two listed building in the heart of Watford. We are looking for an enthusiastic and exemplary Site manager to join our hard working, supportive and friendly team.
The role will include opening and closing the school each day and for the maintenance and upkeep of our site. Responsibilities will also include some cleaning and minor day to day repairs/maintenance The successful applicant will be responsible for helping to ensure that all health and safety requirements are met. This can be a part-time or full time role, 7am – 11.15am and 2.50pm – 6pm Monday - Friday, 52 weeks of the year, with annual leave entitlement to be taken during the school holidays (this may be negotiable). The job is a permanent post but there will be a two term probationary period.
A qualification in a particular trade i.e. plumbing, carpentry etc. is desirable, however, proven experience of general maintenance skills would be necessary.
The candidate would be expected to attend training courses relevant to the role, i.e. health and safety for caretakers, asbestos training, ladder safety etc.
