SITE MANAGER

REQUIRED  SEPTEMBER 2024

Contract Term: Permanent Full-Time Post - Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00 (37 hours)

Salary: H9 £35,822 incl fringe allowance plus generous local government pension scheme and complimentary lunch during term time.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, professional, committed and reliable full time Site Manager to lead our Facilities Team.  This is a key role to help provide a safe, efficient and effective learning and working environment for students, staff and visitors.

Ideally the successful candidate will have:-

  • Previous caretaking experience within a school environment
  • Excellent DIY skills
  • Experience of H&S regulations preferably within an educational environment
  • Good communication skills including good computer skills (email/word/excel)
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Proactive and positive manner
  • Physical fitness is a prerequisite as the post involves porterage duties, including movement of furniture, fixtures departmental supplies and other such equipment to various locations within the school site.
  • Discretion, professionalism and confidentiality are pivotal to this role
