Senior Curriculum Lead for Level 3 Teaching Assistant and Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship programs.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to offer the right individual an opportunity to join the Apprenticeship Training Team of Educational and Sporting Futures, based in our Stevenage office.

As a Curriculum Lead, the role will include the undertaking of a variety of tasks relating to the continued development, delivery and support of the Teaching Assistant Level 3 and the driving of the exciting new Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant apprenticeship.

We are looking for an individual with enthusiasm, high end organisational and communication skills and an ability to co-ordinate virtual and face to face programs across our organisation, working as a valued member of our team.

It is a position that could be ideal for a teacher/tutor with experience in school or college setting who is considering a fresh, exciting new challenge, stepping into and developing their skills within the Apprenticeship world.

It would involve working with a new cohort of apprentices working alongside our experienced Team of tutors and taking up the exciting opportunity of running with the delivery and continued development of the programs.

The role will involve visiting learners and observing within school settings, and it is a great opportunity to step into the Training provider world or bring with you experience from an educational setting.

Overview:

  • Work with core team to lead and contribute towards the development, delivery and support of the both the Level 3 Teaching Assistant and Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant
  • Attend regular Core Team meetings and support Freelance / Hub-site Tutors with the delivery of the identified Curriculum
  • areas.                                                                                                                           Attend conferences and training when appropriate.
  • Deliver Employer Engagement presentations as advised by Directors.
  • With the Directors have an overview of the delivery of the curriculum area across the company.
  • Partner Management: is responsible for working with and supporting Directors with managing relationships with various partners, including apprentices, employers, trainers, and external partners. With support in the first instance, you will act as a point of contact for resolving issues, addressing concerns, and maintaining positive relationships with these partners.

Person Specification: qualifications, experience and skill levels.

  • This post holder is expected to work proactively with the core team at senior level, ensuring program management is delivered effectively at all levels.
  • experience of teaching to include working at senior levels within a school setting,
  • Proven experience in the provision of Education at all levels to enable discussions with School staff to include support staff through to HT and Governors – Employer Engagement
  • Experience of developing and maintaining information systems to support effective working using a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Effective time and workload management
  • Experience within the Education Sector
  • Pro-active, problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy with the aims and objectives of Sporting Futures Training

       •     Ability to form good working relationships with a wide range of groups and individuals

  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised and independently.
  • A calm, organised approach is a key quality.
