About the role
We are aiming to employ a SEN Teaching Assistant - Monday to Friday
We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled Teaching Assistant who will work to support some of our wonderful children. This post is offered on a 27.5 hours per week contract. Experience of working with children with special educational needs would be a significant advantage.
There may also be opportunity to work across all ages groups at our school and within difference classes.
The successful candidate will:-
- be a warm and caring individual, who truly puts the children first
- relish the opportunity to work in a very supportive and dedicated team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants
- have previous experience of supporting children within EYFS, KS1 and KS2 setting at a 1:1 or small group level
- be confident in observing, assessing and planning for children's individual needs and next steps
- work hard to ensure the child they support is fully included in every aspect of school life, using a range of supportive resources and interventions under advice from the SENCo
- have a willingness to attend relevant training, Staff meetings, Pupil Progress meetings and Annual Reviews
- have great organisational and communication skills and the ability to work closely with colleagues.
Pay scale dependent on experience and qualifications.
