About the role
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to support SEN children accross the school in a number of classes.
You need to be self-motivated and flexible. Experience in working in a school is essential, supported by relevant qualifications. The ability to both use your own initiative and to be able to work as a member of a team is crucial to the role. You will need to willing to support the adaptation of planning to meet the specfic needs of child. A calm, patient manner is essential and experience of working with children with SEND would be essential.
You will also be expected to support the overall Christian aims and ethos of our school.
The post is for 3 hours per day 5 days per week, 08:45 until 12:45, term time only and is fixed term as it is linked to funding while the child attends St. Michael's. We are looking for applicants who can start ASAP.
Pay scale will be H2- H3 dependant on experiance, term time only, pro-rota for hours worked.
We are committed to safeguarding children and the successful candidate will be subject to a full enhanced DBS check and a social media check will be carried out prior to interview.
Visits to the school are welcome.
