Pirton Pre School are looking for a SEND support Practitioner to join our small friendly team on a fixed term basis from January 2025 to July 2025, term time only. The contract could be extended dependant on available funding
Job Description
- Lead in interventions on a 1:1 basis and support very small groups of children in their Prime development.
- Assist in managing behaviour alongide the team within the inclusive environment and support play & learning
- Liaise with parents and complete assessments with the support of the SENDCO
You will need to;
- Have a calming and nurturing nature around vulnerable children
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children, guaranteeing a safe environment for all
- Be proactive, not reactive
It is desirable, but not essential, to have;
- Experience within an early years setting
- Experience and/or knowledge of Neuro-divergency, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder
Anticipated earnings;
7th January 2025 – 21st July 2025
Total salary - £5607.93*
Monthly wage - £801.13 before deductions i.e NI, pension*
Holiday pay - £871.42 (which would be paid in August 2025)*
*based on 19.5 hours per week and variable depending on start date
Hours are negotiable but ideally no less than 13 hours per week.
