About the role
The Governors of Kenilworth Primary School are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our team and make a difference for our most vulnerable children. The successful candidate should be passionate about supporting children with SEND to overcome barriers to their learning and achieve their full potential.
The role is for 5 days per week, from 8.30 - 3.30. This is a permanent position and would be paid at an H2 level.
The post advertised would involve supporting a range of children with EHCPs from Reception to Year 6, providing interventions and support linked to section F of their EHCP. This support may be delivered through 1:1 support or small group support, dependent on their individual need.
The ability to adapt to the ever changing needs of a school is essential. We are looking for a candidate who can use initiative and work flexibly within our established team. Experience of supporting children with SEND would be a distinct advantage for this role.
