About the role
Kingshott is a thriving independent school of approximately 400 pupils situated on the outskirts of the wonderful market town of Hitchin. The school is embarking on an ambitious development plan extending its provision up to age 16 and the delivery of GCSEs. Our first Year 9 cohort will be September 2024 with our first set of GCSE examinations taking place in June 2027.
Kingshott school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly skilled technician to join our Science department. You will be responsible for preparing class practicals and demonstrations, updating the prep room and actively acquiring new resources in order to support the progression of Biology, Chemistry and Physics within our thriving department. Applicants should be diligent, organised and willing to use their own initiative. Strong communication skills and an interest in Science is essential.
Consideration will be given to both full and part-time applications. The post is term-time only to include INSET days.
