About the role
About the role
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Governors to join our team at The Blue Tangerine Federation. No prior experience is necessary as training and support will be given.
The Blue Tangerine Federation consists of two schools, The Collett School in Hemel Hempstead and St Luke's School in Redbourn. Our students have a wide range of learning and social needs, with fantastic personalities and skills that make these schools truly special! We support each unique child to become happy learners and increasingly confident about their values and belonging.
Becoming a school governor is a rewarding experience and will allow you to use your skills to have a positive impact on the education of the children in the schools, where you can truly make a difference. You may take on different challenges as you work as part of a well-established Governing Board.
We welcome applications from all backgrounds and ages. There are commitments of the role; attending half-termly meetings (evenings), visiting the two schools (daytimes) and holding additional awareness of a specified area of school work - asking questions of the staff and being able to report back to governors. Full training will be provided.
If you would like to discuss the role further, please contact our Chair of Governors, Ian Dignum through HR@bluetangerine.herts.sch.uk
