Scale - L12-16  (£61,882-£68,400 - 5.5% pay review pending)

Hitchin Girls’ School is a high performing school, graded Outstanding by Ofsted, where we provide an exceptional experience for all of our students from 11-18. We have high level provision for teaching and learning and provide the greatest level of care and support for all students and our staff. Situated in the picturesque and historic market town of Hitchin, it is conveniently located in the beautiful countryside just 25 minutes from London by train and with easy access to motorways and airports. 

We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a School Business Manager from January 2025. The School Business Manager will oversee a wide operational remit including ICT, Human Resources, Facility and Property Management, Administration and Health and Safety. As a member of the Senior Leadership Group, they will make a significant contribution to the strategic leadership of the School, with specific responsibility for directing and developing support services and ensuring that appropriate support for teaching and learning is in place.The successful candidate will benefit from working closely with the existing Director of Finance & Resources who will provide support and ensure continuity as we build the team.
