Salary: Grade 3, £23,048 - £24,113 per annum. Approximately £18,432 - £19,284 per annum (0.79972 FTE)

Avanti Grange Secondary School opened in September 2022 on the site of our new primary school, Avanti Meadows, before moving to a new, permanent site in September 2023. The school opened with 4 forms of entry (120 Year 7 students only) in September 2022 rising to 6 form of entry (180 Year 7 students) from September 2023.One of the many things that makes Avanti Grange Secondary School distinctive is its values-based approach to education. What will you do?

  • Ensure compliance with and assist in developing policies related to child protection, security, confidentiality, and data protection, and report concerns appropriately.
  • Adhere to school and Trust policies, including health and safety, and contribute to the school's overall ethos and aims.
  • Establish relationships and communicate with other agencies, participate in regular meetings, training, and performance development, and provide administrative support as needed.
  • Manage resources, uniforms, and information systems, analyse data, and produce reports, while also handling marketing and promotion tasks such as updating the school website.
  • Organise school events, trips, in-house hospitality, and manage complex administrative tasks, including form submissions and reception matters.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience of developing and maintaining administrative systems and procedures.
  • Good knowledge/understanding of basic financial tasks
  • Evidence of the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities.
  • Commitment to professional development, learning and development.
