Reception class TA

About the role

Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking for a teaching assistant on a full time basis to add to our EYFS team. The hours will be 8.40am - 3.15pm which includes a lunch duty supporting the Reception children whilst they eat and play.

Our Reception class currently has 13 children in it and you will be working alongside an experienced Reception teacher. 

We are a village school with 146 pupils on roll in 6 classes. You'll get to know everyone in no time at all! Our children are keen to learn, responsive and demonstrate our learning behaviours consistently. 

Ofsted recently said: 

Pupils are happy to come to school and attend regularly. They understand and follow their school values to be ‘ready, responsible, reflective, respectful, resourceful and resilient’. Good manners are commonplace, and pupils look after their school environment.

You will be working alongside the class teacher within the classroom to provide additional support, including hearing children read, preparing resources and furthering children's learning whilst they play. 

We are offering a permanent contract. 

We are flexible in terms of who we are looking for, but we want to employ someone who wants to make a difference. Training will be provided as part of induction support where required.
