About the role

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, warm and committed Teaching Assistant to work in our village school, supporting the learning and development of our delightful children. This post is fixed term in the first instance until July 2025, but could be extended.

We are looking for someone with a solid grasp of English, Maths and IT who enjoys working with children and has the personality to build positive, professional relationships with all our pupils, parents and staff.The successful applicant will initially work in our reception class and then move in KS1 next year. 

This post is for 20 hours per week which can be done flexibily, afternoons, mornings or a combination of the two. 

There could also be the opportunity for additional hours/overtime throughout the year.
