About the role
PPA Cover Teacher - 4 afternoons
We are looking to appoint a teacher to cover PPA in KS2 every afternoon except Wednesdays.. There would be a need to teach at least 2 subject areas in during the year, but this can be agreed on with the year group teachers. The same lesson would be repeated across the 2-form entry year group on the same afternoon, so this helps reduce planning time. We are a verbal feedback school, so there is no written marking.
The right candidate would be adaptable and would be keen to be part of our close-knit team. Our children are happy, enthusiastic and well behaved and we have very supportive parents and governors. We have also had Ofsted this year. This position would be for one year in the first instance and would be ideal for someone wanting to return to teaching.
