About the role

We are currently seeking a dedicated Pastoral Lead to join our team and support our children’s well-being and personal growth.

The Pastoral Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the welfare and well-being of our children. This role involves working closely with children, teachers, and parents to create a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for all. The successful candidate will have a compassionate nature, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to supporting the personal and emotional development of our wonderful children. QTS is not essential for this role and all applications will be considered. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pastoral care to children, supporting their social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
  • Foster positive relationships between families, promoting a sense of belonging and community within the school.
  • Work with professionals in order to acheive the best outcomes for children and families. 
  • Lead on behaviour management strategies and provide interventions for children in need.
  • Support the lead DSL with safeguarding and child protection.
