Summercroft Primary School is looking to appoint a dynamic and passionate Pastoral Lead. The successful applicant will work alongside our SENCo to meet the needs of young people who require behavioural, emotional, and mental health support, many of whom have barriers to learning. They will work positively with families to improve school attendance and ensure the most disadvantaged pupils have full access to the educational and extended school opportunities we have to offer. This is a part-time role of 26.5 hours over 4 days a week.

The successful candidate will be reliable, enthusiastic and committed to enhancing children’s life chances. They must be able to demonstrate the ability to use their own initiative, deal with sensitive issues in a professional manner and be highly adaptable to changing circumstances. We are also looking to increase the diversity of our team.
