About the role

Following the retirement of one of our Office Managers, we are looking for an outstanding professional to join our friendly School Office Team. You will manage all aspects of the School Office on Fridays as our other Office Manager works Monday to Thursday.

The role requires flexibility, tact and daily problem solving. Therefore, it is essential that you are professional, approachable and an effective communicator.  The position is offered on a permanent, term time only contract starting in September. The role is for 7 hours per week, worked between 8.00 am to 4.00 pm and with an hour’s unpaid lunch break.

We are looking for an Office Manager who:

  • has experience of working in a school office (ideally)
  • has experience of working as part of an administrative or business team
  • has experience of supervising a small team
  • has excellent communication skills to negotiate and liaise with our school community
  • is flexible, well organised and able to prioritise
  • has excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and has experience of databases and communications software
  • can be a friendly and approachable person at the front of the school, liaising with parents, young children, staff and visitors

The salary quoted reflects the part-time hours and a term time only position.
