We are looking to recruit a friendly, well presented, professional Office Assistant who is highly organised, adaptable and committed to joining our dedicated team. You will need to be flexible and good at multi-tasking in a busy school environment.
You will need excellent interpersonal skills to deal with parents, staff, pupils and visitors both in person and on the phone. In addition to having a high level of computer literacy and the ability to work as part of our friendly and supportive team, ideally the successful candidate will have previous customer service experience. Training will be offered in the use of the schools specific databases.
In addition to being the first point of contact in the school the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the work of a busy school office including maintaining the pupil database, adminstering first aid, organising and co-orinating trips, invoicing and payments and ensuring the website presents a professional image of the school. The successful canditae will need to organise deliveries (and have a passion for ensuring everything is labelled!). Confidentiality, accuracy, initiative and an aptitude to working under pressure are essential.
In addition to working in the office, the successful canditate will join our OPAL play team to led engaging and creative lunchtime play. Training will be provided.
The successful canditate will play a key role in driving the schools focus on attendance inlcuding reviewing data and meeting with parents regularly to esure our pupils have the best learning opportunities possible.

*The role is five days per week with working hours of either 8.00am or 8.30am until 1.00pm.
