Multi-Disciplinary Teaching Assistant  

St. Michael's Woolmer Green C of E VA Primary School is a friendly and vibrant 1 form entry with strong leadership and management.  Our school plays a vital part of the community and has close links to the church.  For the past 2 years we have had an over subscribed reception class which is a testament to the reputation our school holds within the area. Our school also has an experienced and hard working SEN team consisting of a SENCo and an assistant SENCo who works closely with children, families and external professionals. 

The role:

We are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join us for a new and exciting role within our school. You will be supporting a Year 3 class as well as providing support to our experienced SEN team and providing some PPA cover for our teachers.  St Michael's is committed to providing all staff with excellent CPD opportunities and as such we would support the right candidate with achieving a higher level teaching assistant qualification. 

You need to be self-motivated, hardworking and flexible. Experience in working in a school is essential, supported by relevant qualifications. The ability to both use your own initiative and to be able to work as a member of a small team is crucial to the role.

You will also be expected to support the overall Christian aims and ethos of our school.

The post is for 32.5 hours per week 8:30am until 3:15pm term time only.  Salary H3 £17,616 - H5 £20,490 + £689 Fringe (Actual) Depending on experience and willingness to further CPD. National pay award pending.
