We are strengthening our in-house Catering Team by adding an additional role of Mobile Catering Assistant.
- You must love being around young children
- You must be able to travel to our 6 sites in Watford and Hemel Hempstead independently and willing to work where the need is, on a daily basis
- You must have a basic understanding of food hygiene and health and safety in a kitchen environment (although training will be given)
- You must work well within a team and be able to adapt daily
The purpose of the role is to be available to travel to any of our 6 sites to cover for absence or other reasons they may need additional support. The role involves basic cooking of food, operating catering equipment, assist with serving and cleaning duties including washing up and clearing away.
Training will be provided and you will be directed by the Cook Manager in each of our kitchens. Travel expenses will be paid, you are also entitled to a free meal on a daily basis.
You need to observe all policies, procedures, working practices and regulations in particular to comply with Health and Safety and Safeguarding Children, however, training will be provided.
This is a part time, term time only role, leaving you free to enjoy the school holidays.
