About the role
Do you like working with children? Do you want to make a difference to young people's lives and help them to have a fun experience at lunchtime? We are excited to be recruiting for a Midday Supervisor to join our busy and vibrant team from September 2024. The successful candidate will need to smile, be kind and be good fun to play with. Role hours are 8.75 hours per week, term-time only, between 11:30am and work until 1:15pm. This is a fixed term, term time only position until 23/07/25.
Midday supervisors oversee approximately 20% of the school day. This puts them in prime position to help our children to make the most of time away from their class-based learning by implementing high-quality play opportunities that enhance health, happiness and resilience, and improve behaviour and engagement upon return to the classroom. Additional overtime hours may also be available to help with our Opal play initiative which supports the above.
Camps Hill Community Primary School is a 2-form entry school situated in the Chells Ward of Stevenage, England. We currently have 507 children on role from 2 years to 11 years old. The school is built on a historical hill with large, green and spacious grounds. We are known for our enriched, creative curriculum and exceptional pastoral care for everyone in our community. Coaching and mentoring are available within the role, and we promise no two days are the same! A willingness to undertake professional training and make learning fun is a necessity. The school offers excellent CPD development training on Steps, First Aid, Attachment, Prevent and Safeguarding training.
