About the role
We are looking for a responsible, caring and enthusiastic Midday Supervisory Assistant (MSA) to join our school team. You will play a vital role in ensuring that children have a positive and safe experience during lunchtime. You will be responsible for supervising children in the dining hall and playground, supporting their well-being, and ensuring they follow the school’s behaviour and safety policies.
Eastbury Farm is a diverse community school of 345 children (including our nursery). We have beautiful and extensive grounds, and our children are extremely well behaved, love learning and are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for someone who is child-centred, inclusive and who wants to make a difference to every child. You would be working within a supportive team, with relevant training to enable you to provide the best support to our teachers and our children. We value all our staff and work hard to make Eastbury Farm a happy place to work.
We are hoping to employ our new member of staff to work Monday-Friday from 12:00pm-1:00pm. We may have flexibility on working days for the right candidate. We warmly welcome prospective candidates to visit us and see our lovely school for yourself. Please get in touch to arrange a mutually convenient visit.
The Governors and staff of Eastbury Farm are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and visitors to share this commitment. Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) as well as other pre-appointment checks, including an online check, outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education (September 2024).
