Salary: H6 14 - H6 19 £27,334 - £29,777 pro rata + fringe allowance £988

Actual Salary: £4,845.89 - £5,263.89 including fringe

Hours: Friday 7.5 per week over one day (08:15 - 16:15, includes a 20 minute unpaid lunch break)

Permanent, Term Time + 1 INSET DAY

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Library Assistant who can multitask effectively and has a proven track record in key aspects of this role. You will work in our well-resourced School Library, contributing to a vibrant learning environment.

Experience in a similar role within the education sector is preferable but training will be given to outstanding candidates with the suitable skill set obtained in other sectors.

Selection Process:

We are required for only shortlisted candidates to conduct online searches about an applicant as part of our shortlisting process in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance 2024 in order to identify any incidents or concerns which are publicly available online. On signing the declaration on application you will be agreeing to the acknowledgement that such searches will be conducted as part of the shortlisting process.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to the school where there will be a number of related tasks, details of which will be discussed on the day. Interviews will be held with a member of SLT and the Associate Assistant Headteacher/Head of English. There will also be a tour of the school estate and this may be conducted by other members of the school community.
