Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant

About the role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and caring Learning Support Assistant to support a child working out of the class setting.  Every day will be different and you will be able to make a huge difference.  You need to be willing to work closely with the class teacher to adapt planning to suit the specific needs of the child.  A calm, patient manner is essential, and experience of supporting children with Special Educational Needs and / or Disabilities (SEND)  would be a distinct advantage. The role may also invole teaching assistant duties.

This is a fixed term post whilst the child remains in the school. The post is Mon-Fri, term time only. We are seeking a full time candidate (8:55-3:25) We are offering a H2 salary, with an outer fringe allowance payment and Local Goverment Pension. FTE salary is shown in the advert.
