About the role

EXAMS INVIGILATORS

Longdean School

 

£11.44 per hour plus holiday pay

 

 

Longdean School has a requirement to appoint additional members to its team of committed, friendly exam invigilators. The main external examination season runs in May and June; however, you will also need to be available for a minimum of 8 sessions (mornings and/or afternoons) per week during all of the following exam sessions:

 

  • November Resits: 5th-11th November 2024
  • PRELIM 1: 2nd-13th December 2024
  • January External Exams:7th-20th Jan
  • Prelim 2: 3rd Feb – 7th March 2025
  • Summer Public exams: 5th May – 20th June 2024
  • End of Year Exams: 20th-27th June

 

There will also be external assessments throughout the year which will need invigilation.

You must be punctual, have a flexible attitude to work, be able to demonstrate an attention to detail and possess good communication and IT skills. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential for the role. You must be available from 8.30am to 12.00pm for morning sessions and from 1.00pm to 4.30pm for afternoon sessions.

 

Training will be provided in person and online.

If you are appointed you will be required to have an up to date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate. The existence of a criminal background does not automatically mean that you cannot be appointed but it may do so.
