About the role

A brilliant opportunity!

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and creative HLTA to work across our school..  

This role has two elements:

  • Work across the school to provide in-class teaching support and small group work intervention support 
  • To provide cover for colleagues on a planned or short-term basis and deliver high quality lessons to children as directed (PPA)

Passionate about developing our children's love of learning and helping them to reach their potential, you will support the planning, assessment and day to day activities across the school where you will support children 1:1, lead small groups and support classes as a whole.  You will also covr PPA as required.  You will be able to work effectively on your own initiative as well as part of our team.

 We are looking for someone who: 

  • Has experience of leading a class  
  • Has excellent knowledge and a sound understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Is a hardworking and dedicated practitioner; able to motivate and inspire children 
  • Is enthusiastic, resourceful and committed to ensuring the highest possible standards of achievement and personal development, supporting every child to flourish 
  • Is willing to contribute to the life of the school and its community 
  • Has a commitment to their own personal and professional development 
  • Works effectively in partnership with all stakeholders 
  • Is able to work cooperatively as part of a team 
  • Takes responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
