About the role
Advert Description – HLTA post for the James Marks Academy, Welwyn.
Pay: H5-H6. The H6 rate will be paid for an individual with experience and / or with a ‘specialism’ or key area of skill – which will enable the successful candidate to support small groups.
Hours: 37 hours (entirely negotiable, term time and one week for insets)
Start Date: January 2025 ideally, we will wait up to nine months for the right candidate
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is or aspires to be a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in a small, supportive Trust with long-established committed colleagues.
You will be joining a creative and enthusiastic team who will support you to thrive in your new role, and achieve the job satisfaction most people want, but never obtain. If you are ambitious and of high calibre, you will receive the support to further develop within the organisation. The ideal candidate will have experience within an education and /or care setting; and will be flexible, able to work as part of a team and have good numeracy and literacy skills, along with additional interest and skills they would like to share with others. We need an effective communicator who is able to liaise skilfully with families, pupils, colleagues and various professionals.
