About the role

Following the retirement of the current post holder the Governors are seeking to recruit an inspirational Headteacher.

The Nobel School is a vibrant, inclusive, and successful secondary school and sixth form set in the welcoming community of Chells in Stevenage. With 1,495 students, including a thriving sixth form of nearly 300 students, we are proud to provide a supportive, nurturing, and high-achieving environment where every student and staff member can excel.

The successful candidate will inspire ambition and resilience across the school, driving academic excellence while nurturing a culture of well-being and belonging. With a clear vision for the school’s future, they will collaborate with staff, students, and Governors to build on our successes and shape an exciting and successful future for The Nobel School.
