About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Office Assistant to join our School Office Team. This position is offered on a permanent contract, for 26 hours 15 minutes per week, worked from 8.45 am to 2.30 pm, Monday to Friday, during term time only, with a 30-minute unpaid break.

You will be an integral part of our busy School Office Team - signing in visitors, looking after the general welfare of pupils, administering first aid, being a first point of contact for internal and external queries and supporting both the Office Manager and Finance Manager.

To become part of the School Office Team as an Office Assistant, you will need to:

  • have experience of working in a school – desirable
  • have experience of working as part of an administrative team
  • have excellent communication skills
  • be highly organised with good attention to detail
  • have good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • be a friendly and approachable person at the front of the school, liaising with parents, young children, staff and visitors
  • have first aid experience (training will be provided)

The selection process for shortlisted candidates will be an interview and tasks.

The approximate part-time salary per annum is £13,940.
