We are a friendly and nurturing team that provides a cosy, home from home environment that allows children's early education to flourish. We believe that every day should be a fun learning day and that learning is all around us. The nursery team work closely with the Reception teacher to ensure that every child has the best possible start in life to fulfil their potential and to ensure that there is continuity and progression. Every adult in Early Years is a key worker and will be responsible for a child’s wellbeing and development.

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic early years practitioner, with a sense of humour, to work in our Nursery and enhance our team.We welcome applications from candidates with all levels of qualifications and/or experience, however applicants with a suitable level 3 childcare qualification are desirable but not essential.

Our Nurseries, are fully involved with the life of the school. They take part in whole school activities such as: Celebration assemblies, walks around our village and whole school trips. The Nursery children also have their own dedicated Forest School time.

The successful candidate(s) will be encouraged to participate in training opportunities offered.  Salary pay range will be H2-H3 dependant on expereince and qualifications, (£23,114 - £23,893 pro rata, term time only position).

This post is to cover Maternity leave and will be for a 1 year contact, with the possibilty of extending after the year. The post is from 8.30am – 1.00pm Monday to Friday, term time only, however there is flexitbily to extend  this contact to full time (3:30pm) when needed.
