About the role
Are you passionate about Early Years? Do you have experience in supporting pupils with SEND or leading SEND?
Our Lady School is looking for an experienced Early Years teacher who has the vision, energy and drive to lead Early Years and Year 1. We are looking for someone who has experience in SEND and would like the opportunity to work alongside an experience SENDCO to support in leading SEND provision in Early Years and Key Stage 1. The successful candidate will be part of the Senior Leadership team.
We are looking for someone who:
- is an outstanding practitioner who has a rooted passion for Early Years education and has the tenacity to ensure high standards of education for all pupils.
- has experience in supporting pupils with SEND and is able to review and adapt provision to ensure the individual needs of all pupils are prioritised.
- demonstrates understanding of child development and has experience of planning and delivering high quality provision in Early Years that ensures the needs of all pupils are met.
- understands how the Early Years curriculum should be implemented to ensure each child has the foundations to prepare them for the next stage in their education.
- is a reflective practitioner who is committed to their own professional development in order to better their own practice.
- understands the importance of high quality continuous provision and be willing to take risks to provide innovative and creative learning opportunities in response to the needs and interests of each individual child.
- Is an advocate for outdoor learning and excited about further developing our Outdoor provision.
- Most importantly…enjoys what they do!

The successful candidate would be available to start either directly after February half term or at the start of the Summer term.
