About the role

Pirton Pre School are looking for an exceptional level 3 candidate to join our small, friendly team from January 2025 

We are based in the heart of Pirton Village, on the outskirts of Hitchin town. We run from a purpose-built facility with a bright and airy indoor space and large outdoor area. The Pre School is open between 0900 - 1500 offering half day and full day care. We have a dedicated and skilled staff team who are supported by a management committee.

We provide care and education for 2 to 4 year olds and have a bespoke curriculum which evolves with each cohort. We encourage a collective reflective approach to our practice and provision.

We believe play should be purposeful, thoughtful and intentional. Our practice is a balance of guided and self-directed learning which is tailor-made for every childs interests, needs and stage of development

Working Requirements - 35/36 hours alternate weeks TERM TIME ONLY. 20 minute paid break per day

                                    Monday 0830 - 1530

                                    Tuesday 0830 - 1530

                                   Wednesday 0830 - 1530 or 1630 (every other week for staff meetings)

                                    Thursday 0830 - 1530

                                    Friday 0830 - 1530

A level 3 in Early Years is essential however consideration will be given to a competent candidate currently studying for their level 3.

A valid paedicatirc first aid qualification would be desirable but not essential
