About the role
Pirton Pre School are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our small, friendly team from January 2025 but start can be negotiated for the right candidate and an earlier start is possible.
We are based in the heart of Pirton Village, on the outskirts of Hitchin town. We run from a purpose-built facility with a bright and airy indoor space and large outdoor area. The Pre School is open between 0900 - 1500 offering half day and full day care. We have a dedicated and skilled staff team who are supported by a management committee.
We provide care and education for 2 to 4 year olds and have a bespoke curriculum which evolves with each cohort. We encourage a collective reflective approach to our practice and provision.
We believe play should be purposeful, thoughtful and intentional. Our practice is a balance of guided and self-directed learning which is tailor-made for every childs interests, needs and stage of development

Working Requirements - 35/36 hours alternate weeks TERM TIME ONLY. 20 minute paid break per day
Monday 0830 - 1530
Tuesday 0830 - 1530
Wednesday 0830 - 1530 or 1630 (every other week for staff meetings)
Thursday 0830 - 1530
Friday 0830 - 1530

Although not essential a level 2 or 3 in Early Years would be desirable. We would urge those currently studying to apply.
A valid paedicatirc first aid qualification would be desirable but not essential
