About the role

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated teams. The role will mostly be based in Early Years. The successful candidate will work with pupils individually, in class in pairs, and in small groups to support the delivery of learning within the classroom.

We have a high staff-to-pupil ratio and a supportive senior leadership team to support you and the opportunity to effect real change and witness progress. The rewards are immense as we see pupils develop and succeed in reaching their full potential, gaining educational outcomes and returning to mainstream wherever possible.

The successful candidate will be patient, reliable, and sensitive to the needs of our students -showing enthusiasm and commitment to supporting learning across the curriculum. A good sense of humour and an ability to work as part of a close-knit team is essential. Experience as a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Worker or have experience working with children with additional educational needs /SEND is needed as you will be supporting pupils in a full range of subjects.

You will possess excellent communication skills, be organised, be approachable, calm, and positive. You should be a team player, who is also able to work on your own initiative.
