Job Summary:
Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. As a Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality childcare and early education to young children in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, fostering children's social and academic development, and ensuring each child's well-being and happiness.
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes exploration, creativity, and curiosity.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to support their development.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behavior, and health to ensure individualized care and attention.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience that aligns with Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries' philosophy and standards.
- Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding assistant teachers and support staff in daily activities and routines.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
- The candidate must hold a Level 3 or above qualification in Childcare or the Early Years.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics while providing individualized attention to each child.
- Passion for nurturing young minds and creating a positive learning environment.
- Drive to continuously improve teaching methods and adapt to the evolving needs of children.
