About the role

Are you passionate about children's learning? Do you strive to make a difference to children's lives? If so, this may be the role for you! We are hoping to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our Nursery Team in September 2024.

We are looking for an individual who has experience of working with young children with additional needs to work in our Rainbow provision, a smaller room attached to the main nursery. This room is calmer, quieter, with less distractions and resources which are tailored to the needs of the children. Our Rainbow provision strives to accommodate all children through our inclusive curriculum. We provide a caring and nurturing environment to ensure all children have a sense of belonging and are given the opportunity to be the best they can be. Our Rainbow group is a calm and welcoming provision which reduces distressed behaviour for our neuro diverse children.

You will also have excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and be committed to ensuring that every child is supported to reach their full potential. We can offer wonderful children and a very supportive team. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2/3 Early Years Childcare Qualification, a good sense of humour, an excellent work ethic and a flexible approach.

You will be working 28 hours per week (4 ½ days per week), 38 weeks a year (term time only) 8.30am to 3.30pm.
