About the role
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team.
Primarily, you will provide support within our Nursery class, working closely with the teacher to implement the EYFS curriculum.
The successful candidate will have a relevant Level 3 qualification, and will have worked in an Early Years setting/Nursery/Reception class. You will need to have a high level of commitment to engage the children in order to help them develop a real love of learning. Experience working with children with special educational needs would also be useful. A sense of humour is essential!
Working at Lordship Farm, you will become a valued part of the school community and we are looking for a candidate who is keen to play an active part in the life of the school.
The school has a strong belief in continued professional development and we encourage all staff to engage with further learning in addition to the training schedule that the school already has in place through regular meetings and training opportunities.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed within term-time.
Requirements
Essential
L3 Qualification in supporting children’s education
GCSE (or equivalent) pass in Mathematics and English
Desirable
Recent experience of working with in nursery or primary school setting
Herts Steps Therapeutic Training experience
Start date: January 2025
38 weeks per annum (term-time)
