About the role

Hollybush is a very special and unique place to work, we are proud of our school and our community and we are very passionate about our Early Years.  We need an excellent and experienced Early Years Practitioner to work in our amazing EYFS. The position could be in Nursery or Reception and you would be working amongst our friendly and experienced staff. 

At Hollybush Primary School we believe that all children deserve an education rich in awe and wonder as well as exciting and memorable experiences that allow children’s natural creativity and curiosity to flourish. We focus on nurturing the whole child and their individual needs. We are a therapeutic and attachment aware school and we believe this needs to be at the core of what we do. Communication and the acquisition of language is supported by our use of Makaton and we are proud to be a Makaton Friendly school. We love learning outside and our children enjoy forest school, bike time, visiting our school animals and playing in our wonderful garden. 

We are looking for someone who has recent experience working in a Nursery or Reception class and most importantly someone who loves playing with children. The successful candidate will be someone who understands the importance of building relationships and engaging in high quality interactions with children. Knowledge of the EYFS profile and Level 3 is essential. 

Our little school is very popular with our local community and our families and visitors love our environment which embraces aspects from Hugge, The Curiosity Approach and Steiner. We encourage CPD opportunities and training to help you continue to develop your skills and knowledge.
