Are you ready for the next step on your leadership journey?  The Governors of Windermere Primary School are looking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher to join their leadership team to help shape the school’s future.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Deputy to support the Headteacher and Governors in driving the school forward. This is an exciting time for an excellent teacher to join our school to develop their leadership skills in a supportive learning environment.  The Deputy role will have class and subject leadership responsibility with dedicated leadership time in which to carry out the Deputy Head role.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a consistently good/outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations and a proven track record of raising standards
• Is committed to supporting the personal, social and academic development of our pupils
• Has leadership experience as a senior teacher or phase leader
• Has the desire and skills to support the Headteacher in shaping the future of the school
• Is looking to make a long term, positive impact within the school, leading and supporting staff to further develop practice

Experience with Early Years/KS1 is desirable as is experience of working in small schools or vertical groupings.

There is flexibility in start date from January 2025.
