About the role
Andrews Lane School is excited to be recruiting for a reliable and committed cleaner to join our busy and vibrant team to support the day-to-day running of the school.
The hours are Monday – Friday 15:30-18.00 (12.5 hrs per week), term time only (38 weeks per year). There may be the opportunity for occasional holiday cleaning if required during the school holidays. Experience of cleaning in a non-domestic environment would be beneficial.
Andrews Lane Primary School is a busy and friendly one-form-entry school with over 150 children on role.
The school is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to this post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Please note that this role ‘exempt’ from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore, you are required to declare any convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings that are not ‘protected’ (i.e. filtered out) as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).
