About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and exemplary Caretaker to join our hard working, supportive and friendly team. We are looking for someone who is dependable, self-motivated, passionate and inspiring.
The role will include opening and closing the school each day and for the maintenance and upkeep of our site. Responsibilities may also include some cleaning. The successful applicant would also be responsible for helping to ensure that all health and safety requirements are met. Please see the job description attached for full details about the role.
This is a part-time role, 7am – 10.30am and 2.30pm – 6pm Monday - Friday, 52 weeks of the year, with annual leave entitlement to be taken during the school holidays (this may be negotiable). Flexibility to work some weekends and additional hours as required to cover lettings is essential.
A qualification in a particular trade i.e. plumbing, carpentry etc. is desirable, however, proven experience of general maintenance skills would be necessary.
The candidate would be expected to attend training courses relevant to the role, i.e. health and safety for caretakers, asbestos training, ladder safety etc.
