About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our wonderful office team at Knebworth Primary School.

Our school is located in the heart of Knebworth Village, which is a close community on the outskirts of Stevenage. We are an inclusive school with a strong committed team, therefore, we are looking for someone who shares our ethos and will embody our school values of respect, responsibility and resilience.

We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic Administrator with excellent communication skills to join a friendly and dedicated team of staff who are supportive of each other and face each day with a sense of humour. The ideal candidate will make a significant contribution and will ensure that, as the team is the first point of contact, all visitors, parents, staff and pupils that come into contact with the school office, have a warm, welcoming, professional and positive experience.

The work is wide and varied - no day in school is ever the same! We would like someone who is calm, organised and approachable and who has a positive attitude for this front-facing role. The ideal candidate will be experienced at working in a school and who is also quick to learn new skills and take the initiative in a busy environment where each day brings new challenges.
